Remembering Cosby Hodges


The Good Samaritan Clinic would like to recognize and celebrate the life of Cosby Hodges. Mr. Hodges was not only a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he was also an active member of several non-profit boards in the Fort Smith River Valley, including time here at the Good Samaritan Clinic. Through his countless number of volunteer hours and philanthropy, Mr. Hodges truly loved his community out loud. His contributions to Fort Smith and the Good Samaritan Clinic were a blessing to the clinic and will remain throughout the years to come.

Patricia Daniel Hodges of Fort Worth, TX, his wife of 49 years survives; his three daughters: Arden H. Serrato of Placitas, NM, Denise H. Hamilton, and Jane H. Askins (Justin) of Fort Worth, TX; eight grandchildren: Mauricio, Gabriela, Javier, and Ariana Serrato of Placitas, NM; Tori Stewart, Seguin, TX and Cole Stewart, John Cosby & Ellery Askins of Fort Worth; two great grandsons, Krew Stewart, & Avian Serrato, his sister, Jane Hodges Johnson, of Birmingham, his nieces, nephews, & cousins.
